Teixeira taking him to school now, constant lateral movement, hard consistent jab, landing crazy shots from weird angles in combination, making Adames miss badly, a vicious right uppercut and a few right hooks throughout wins this one for Patrick easily.

First half of the round Adames was in control, landing a few rights, but nothing dominant, then Patrick bounces back, lands in combination, he has Adames hurt, then lets his hands go for about 40 seconds, if he stepped on the gas he could probably finish him, better body work from Teixeira in this round as well.

Another dominant round for the Brazilian, he's been showboating for the last 3 rounds, and I don't begrudge him hat, since he was looking like a goner in the 3rd and 4th, he earned the right to be pompous. He danced circles around Adames peppering him with non stop power jabs that are almost straight rights from the southpaw position. Brilliant performance from Patrick.

Damn, sure am glad I went with him for the upset. I knew his awkwardness, weird angles, southpaw stance and footwork was going to give Adames fits, and eventually it did. Not sure why people thought the last rounds were close, they were not.
