Stoppage wasn't BS at all. Babic was reeling all over the place and taking huge shots he was barely able to defend against. Had the fight continued Babic would have been dropped at some point for the count after absorbing a lot more damage than he took last night.

Babic was blocking most of the shots thrown at him at the time of the stoppage. You've never been thrown at while on the ropes? Definitely doesn't mean the fight has to be stopped/

 

I rewatched the whole fight. Babic was hardly hit. E.g. watch the video below in slo -mo

Babic avoided or blocked it with gloves

Babic threw 1 punch and landed 1

So yes, way too early stoppage for a 'world title' fight. Doesn't matter if Babic would have survived it or not, but now we will never find out

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to see but to me Babic is reeling all over the place and taking big shots that he's not really able to defend against. Poor punch accuracy or not those three that landed were heavy shots and Babic would most likely have been dropped again at some point and then stopped. Maybe we were robbed of an ATG slugfest with Babic roaring back to drop Rozanski and Rozanski roaring back to drop Babic and so on, but personally I'm cool with the way things went. I think Babic got caught cold early and wasn't going to recover.

 

I counted at least 7 landed there at both 0.5 and 0.25, but yeah, it was too early for sure.
