Round 1

N'Dam N'Jikam is dancing around Chudinov, placing the quick left jab in his mouth and using lots of directional changes while skimming his back along the ropes. N'Dam N'Jikam dropping in some right hands and left hooks without ever planting his feet long enough to give Chudinov a clear target. Chudinov paws in with the jab and is able to occasionally tie up, but otherwise finding nothing to neutralize the movement of N'Dam N'Jikam, and barely scoring anything on the outside. A few pinball-machine flippers on the body up close by Chudinov.

Round 2

N'Dam N'Jikam is working the 1-2 from outside, halting Chudinov in place a few steps away. Chudinov patiently bundles his fists to his chin and leans in, waiting for a spot, and stuns N'Dam N'Jikam with a short overhand left. He tries following up, headhunting, but N'Dam N'Jikam makes him miss everything with footwork and upper body movement, so Chudinov resorts to scooping underhanded body combos. N'Dam N'Jikam scrambles for the ropes and then flurries his way off them before he can be trapped, flinging himself atop Chudinov, draped over him like a parachute, and whacking the Russian's body with a free hand. Chudinov stalks and pins N'Dam N'Jikam on the ropes, landing some more hard meaty body shots. N'Dam N'Jikam bends over and is clocked behind the head with a chopping right. They flurry at the bell in the pocket.

Round 3

N'Dam N'Jikam is walked into the ropes, but springs off them with a jab into the face and right downstairs to make Chudinov back up a step. Chudinov keeps tanking forward, playing the tortoise to N'Dam N'Jikam's hare, waiting until he herds N'Dam N'Jikam into a corner to throw anything and then unloading in power combos on the body. N'Dam N'Jikam is countering in multiples on the face, lots of straight light shots bouncing off Chudinov's jowls and the underside of his gloves as he raises them. Chudinov starts hooking the body and N'Dam N'Jikam grabs one wrist, pulling it down with his left glove, and lobs a right over the top to blind Chudinov before sliding along the ropes and then propelling himself outside to safety. N'Dam N'Jikam walks Chudinov onto a few jabs while dancing away.

This is a good tactical fight between disparate (but aesthetically pleasing, when combined) styles.

Best that I can remember seeing Chudinov look in a while...which isn't exactly a great thing for my guy.

 

Round 4

N'Dam N'Jikam is backing into a corner, battling bravely back with both hands chipping away on Chudinov's face, but the hard body shots from the Russian are now interspersed with heavy push-pole rights. N'Dam N'Jikam slapping Chudinov's head off with desperate hooks up on his toes, but Chudinov swallowing them wholesale like antacid chews. Really aggressive hooking & uppercutting sequences downstairs by Chudinov, keeping N'Dam N'Jikam pinned against the turnbuckle. Right hand up top by Chudinov might have hurt N'Dam N'Jikam.
