Uzlyan is picking off all of Mazur's barking jabs and 1-2s, and pummeling the body ducking in low. Mazur backs him into a corner and lands looping lefts as Uzlyan is bowing against the turnbuckle. They glide out to center ring. Mazur busy but churning a lot of air. Uzlyan tries a few slashing lefts from a crouch, blocked. Mazur triples up ona looping left into the side of the head as Uzlyan is bending forward again.

Round 3

Uzlyan marching Mazur down, high left jabs and rights plugged into the body. Mazur putting together right hooks and left crosses but Uzlyan defending well as he pressures. Mazur now tries getting in on the body punching wagon, but Uzlyan able to drop his elbows and catch everything. Mazur goes back to spamming headhunting flurries, scoring a bit. Mazur lead right hook from too far out, caught on the back of the glove. Uzlyan opens up with several hard body shots and eats a big roundhouse left across the jaw in the process. Uzlyan jabs into the guard. Mazur with a spray of hooking shots on either side of Uzlyan's skull. They brawl until the bell.

Round 4

Uzlyan is cutting the ring off, keepig his chin bowed to his chest, and getting a piece of Mazur wherever he can - usually the body, sometimes left hooks up top. Mazur is backing up in straight lines, elbows raised and palms squeezed together in front of his face, waiting his turn, and then exploding with barking flurries. Mazur darts in with a 1-2, scoring.

Round 5

Uzlyan is keeping a low center of gravity and landing shorter, harder punches on the midsection while Mazur is backing up on tiptoed stilts and slapping with wide fast hooks on the face with both hands. Uzlyan walkng Mazur onto some impaling left jabs. Mazur can't help falling in with his defense open when he attacks.

Round 6

Mazur with some pincer attacks - chopping right hooks from above combined with left handed shovel uppercuts. Uzlyan is now turning southpaw himself, menacing Mazur behind a long right jab and standing up tall for once. Uzlyan is forcing an inside fight, tapping all over Mazur's eye sockets with pinball launchers. Mazur looking uncomfortable, shrimping up and nearly getting trapped on the ropes. Mazur with some barking straight volleys, missing and forced to cover up as Uzlyan responds instantly. Both men getting blocked a fair amount in the middle of the ring, but Uzlyan poking through Mazur's guard with some double right jabs and left uppercuts. BIG overhand left by Uzlyan catches Mazur rushing in.

Mazur shoeshines the body ferociously, getting a rise from the crowd and commentators. Uzlyan stays composed, and keeps feeding Mazur jabs, still boxing southpaw. Both men feeling the pace. Right hook scores for Mazur. Uppercut for Uzlyan. Mazur has a cut by his right eye. Mazur's gum shield out. They come together both flurrying, all arm punches. Uzlyan orthodox again, plants a nice uppercut on the belt line. Rabbit punch right hook by Mazur, now carrying his arms by his sides.

Round 8

Uzlyan is holding out a left arm in a slow motion pantomime of a jab. Mazur tries slapping it away with a right hook. Uzlyan walks him into the ropes and tosses a barrage of underhands on the body. Mazur jabs and tries clinching but is pushed off. Ref calls time, Mazur's gum shield again. Replaced quickly. They both land heavy shots as they resume. Uzlyan knifing a left jab up and into Mazur's nose, past his wrist. Uzlyan scores a 1-2. Mazur jumps in throwing right hooks and downward slashing lefts backing Uzlyan into the ropes but nothing gets through cleanly. Uzlyan rips a left hook on the liver but his foot slips and it doesn't land with much traction. Mazur misses a three-piece and takes a body shot.

Round 9

Mazur's eye is now grotesquely swollen, as is the cheek below it. Uzlyan is targeting it with a left hook. Gum shield out. Ref gives Mazur a stern warning, and he sheepishly acknowledges that he won't do it again. Time in. Uzlyan unloads. Mazur rocked. Uzlyan southpaw again, right jab and left uppercut combo working well. Clinch. Mazur shoves off and inadvertently headbutts Uzlyan. Warned and sent to a neutral corner by the ref. Uzlyan says he's fine and wants to start fighting again right away. He steps in and wallops Mazur with a heavy left hook that is mostly blocked but sends him reeling doubled over anyway. Mazur with a vicious 1-2-1-2 leaping in on Uzlyan against the ropes.

Round 10

Mazur out like a man possessed. Uzlyan bulled into the ropes, jabs his way off. Mazur throwing right hooks up top and wide sweeping lefts below. Mazur now tossing 4-5 shots straight into Uzlyan's face and then covering up. Uzlyan screening on his forearms and then taking big swings at the body. Mazur flurrying and moving. Uzlyan following with hooks and uppercuts. Just over a minute left in this thriller. Mazur light on his toes, scores a right hook and straight left, having a good round - BUT UZLYAN CATCHES HIM, KNOCKING HIM INTO THE ROPES WITH A HOOK! Mazur scissoring his legs almost faster than he can manage, looking a bit fragile - and Uzlyan knocks him down with thirty seconds remaining! Uzlyan resumes the attack, bashing Mazur's sides in with powerful hooks. Mazur runs. Both men raise their arms celebratorially at the bell.

Wild finish. I was literally just about to write in that final round as "10-9 Mazur - close"

Would've been the difference between a final score of 96-94, just two points apart - or 97-92, a five point spread.
