Getting ready to watch it right now, you're right about me liking Uziyan I've already seen him before, against Bakhodur Usmonov, which I watched doing research for Usmonov's recent match against Alaev.

Damn... Mazur and I share a birthday, that's been happening a lot lately, the other recent one is Stephanie Vaquer. So even though I see the result ahead of time, it kind of makes me want to root for him.

    Round 1 Uziyan 10-9

Mazur looks like the funky lovechild of Billy Joe Saunders and Felix Cash, while Uziyan looks like a cousin of Vanes Martirosyan.

    Round 1 Uziyan 10-9
    Round 2 Mazur 10-9, close

Mazur a little more active, managed to push Uziyan to the ropes on a few occasions.

    Round 2 Mazur 10-9, close
    Round 3 Uziyan 10-9, close

While Mazur outworked him, I prefer the accuracy of Uziyan, and clearly heavier shots. Also the yapping da da... da da da... machine gunner sound effects from Mazur is annoying the **** out of me.

    Round 2 Mazur 10-9, close
    Round 3 Uziyan 10-9, close
    Round 4 Mazur 10-9

Both had their moments, but Mazur more of them and finished strong.

    Round 2 Mazur 10-9, close
    Round 3 Uziyan 10-9, close
    Round 4 Mazur 10-9
    Round 5 Mazur 10-9

Mazur has gotten into a decent rhythm, easily outworked him and is placing his shots well and sitting down on them.

    Round 4 Mazur 10-9
    Round 5 Mazur 10-9
    Round 6 Uziyan 10-9

Uziyan decided to fight almost the entire round as a southpaw, and couldn't miss with the uppercut and lunging straight left.

    Round 6 Uziyan 10-9
    Round 7 Uziyan 10-9

Not much on Mazur's shots now, mostly shoeshining, Uziyan both out working and far more accurate. Mazur's mouthpiece came out and his face is looking beat to hell.

    Round 7 Uziyan 10-9

Mazur starts round well, Uziyan takes over with a sustained body attack, Mazur's mouthpiece comes out again. Mazur reinvigorated finishes the stronger of the two.

    Round 9 Uziyan 10-9

Mouthguard out again, the ref should've docked him a point for that, the bruised goose egg under Nazur's right eye is looking nasty. Uziyan taking it to him, rocking him on a few occasions, headclash blunts his momentum momentarily. They trade to the bell.

Mazur going all out early, a few well placed lefts from Uziyan slows his charge forward, his eye is a mess, check right hook almost drops Mazur, he flies back against the ropes, Uziyan follows him, looking to follow up, Mazur on bike bike, gets knocked on his ass with a heavy jab. Uziyan going for he kill, Mazur running or holding.

    96-93 Uziyan

@IntentionalButt You and I differed on rounds 3, 5 and 8. But your card is perfectly fine as well, there were several tight rounds, but Mazur has no argument that he won enough of them to throw his arms up like that. Not a bad match, pretty standard issue stuff for these RCC cards, which tend to always be entertaining. I'll get to the Japanese match later today.
