Tarkoev might let this slip away into upset territory if he doesn't come up with a plan B, and if the judges give Dasso a fair shake.

Dasso (whose braids are done up with a conical bit of white fabric that looks distractingly like an upside down ice cream cone) is ranked #1959 in the world on BoxRec at 147lbs.

Dasso has a rabbit punch grievance, ref not having it.

 

Oh, suppose that's all then. BoxRec listed a 6 rounder, apparently demoted to a 4.

 

Tarkoev gets it. Strong impression left on the judges no doubt in the last round-and-a-half, although if we're being pedantic he did sort of get outboxed in the first two so it ought to probably be a draw. (most judges won't have liked how negative Dasso was, so having the first two level is fair and mathematically that's a W for Tarkoev)

 

They're hyping up an Eduard Troyanovsky comeback, it seems. Idk who's really asking for that but okay.
