Didn't see the result for Idigov vs. Lubsanov, assuming UD for Idigov.

Next up is a swing bout that isn't even listed on the BoxRec page for this card. Some bearded 1-0 prospect against some ginger Russian crossover from MMA, gathering from a few snippets of English in Zagorsky's introductions.

Idigov actually lost a SD to Lubsanov, he's well overdue an L anyway as he's gotten many gift decisions in his tenure.

 Hella upsets on this card!

    Getting nervous for Rad Booty...

 I was wondering why my thread shrunk by a post, like if maybe somebody had asked for a stream and had their comment deleted by a mod or something - but no, it was Perkin Warbeck being an insecure dweeb and erasing his own post praising Idigov as a superb boxer that would be a huge threat at SMW if only he wasn't a feather-fist.

Oh no, I said something that mightn't have aged well! Quick, let me hide it!

Such cowardly small D energy.

Standing by your opinions even when they end up being wrong is what real chads do.

Keeping a weather eye on Uzlyan vs. Muñoz, albeit not closely enough to score.

Appear to be a clinchy mess, so no great loss.

Muñoz was a late (I believe 1 day) replacement for Argentinian journeyman Diego Alberto Ruiz.

He was a pretty dangerous last minute sub, actually, boasting a 14-1 (12) record with the loss coming in his only excursion outside his native Venezuelan borders.

Hasanboy - only 30 years old but with a face that would go more appropriately with the name Hasanoctogenarian - while significantly less experienced professionally than is "ToyToy" Baleni, had a long and storied amateur career, while the South African's record was entirely padded at home (this being his maiden voyage internationally)

    I'm not sure what I like less: Dusmatov's middle name ( :vomiton22je: ) or Baleni's nickname ( :sisigay: ) .

This isn't a great watch, so far. Dusmatov is just sniping with left hands from outside - straight leads on the nose, mostly, and some looping around the guard - while Baleni just sprays leather at him. The level of competition must have been total bologna for Baleni to rack up even a 21-5-2 record. :deal:

(and if you didn't get that pun because you don't know how to pronounce bologna - I again implore you to git worldly, trog!)

This is the co-main, btw. Rad Booty vs. Fazzy Goib to follow and probably finish well past midnight local time, as it's already currently ten past 11pm in Sochi.

Getting very dirty in the clinch. Fair amount of headbutting from Baleni, rabbit punching from Dusmatov, and elbows & Heisman-arms from both.

Smattering of low blows and kidney shots too, when either man bothers to stop headhunting.

Fortunately they're feather-fisted 105lbers, though (regardless of Dusmatov being 5-0 with all 5 stoppage victories) so at least the many fouls aren't putting anybody's health at risk. :sisi1

If this wasn't live I'd have 100% skipped ahead to view the main event by now.

Any of the straw elites (concentrated primarily in east & southeast Asia: the Philippines, Thailand and Japan) would gobble up either of these guys for breakfast.

Which I guess would make them double in size and thus bridgerweights? I digress...

Hoped to be far more impressed by the ancient-looking Uzbek, tbh.

For the umpteen billionth time: Not every great amateur will make for a great pro. :deal:
