‘I don't want to show any sportsmanship or respect’ wilder to Fury.

Yeah, personally I'd still be willing to give him a window of opportunity to repent. Fighters say all sorts of loopy **** in the direct aftermath of a fight and I'm not going to hold it against them. Generally though that's the moment the true spirit of a fighter is most on display, and given what we know of Wilder it didn't look too pretty.

 

Wilders response is not surprising for someone who is uneducated and who’s ego is massively hurt. He needs some time to really come to grips with the fact that he lost to a better fighter. All of his ko wins and all of his yes men made him believe he was this invincible powerhouse anointed by god. He needs to accept and be grateful that he was able to accomplish so much more then what he originally started boxing for. He has the finances to be able to help his daughter and all of his children and grandchildren for years to come.

Where is video evidence of Fury trying to shake Wilder's hand and Wilder saying this?

 

I mean, Fury said it right afterward in an interview, and why would he make something up about what transpired between them with a ring full of witnesses, cameras, and microphones, and millions viewing on TV around the world? It isn't like some gym sparring story where it can be he said / he said. Wilder either did or didn't refuse the handshake, and it would be super weird for Fury to think he could just fabricate from whole cloth that he did if it didn't happen.

Can't make out exactly what Wilder says, might try with headphones but there's a fair amount of ambient noise in the vid.

 

I thought he was class during the press conference, when he explained the KO and showed genuine concern when he said , i just hope he is ok.
