    “I've lost all respect for the Champion. It’s ridiculous that a man of Carnera’s weight should let Loughran or Paulino stay 15 rounds with him. Loughran should have had about the same chance against Carnera as Billy Petrolle would have in the same ring with me!? I figured Carnera would stop him early?? I’m glad I didn’t see the fight. I'd like to see him try and step on MY toes!?

    This is a strange comment coming from Baer who not only went the distance with both of those fighters but also managed to lose to them. Carnera beat them both.
