    Yes, that is obvious, but it's not what I am talking about.
    I am talking about the fact that you said if Canelo is to win any of the fights via SD or MD, he would take a pay cut as well. Not only if he lost.
    Which is ridiculous.

    Well, why not? If he goes life and death with someone like Jacobs, do you think DAZN would be willing to pay him the same amount again for a rematch, especially know IF he had to rely on home-cooking judges? The public aren't that stupid and if DAZN subscription projections weren't going in the anticipated direction, would they pay him the same amount?

    Think about it for a second from a promotor's perspective.

    :facepalm::lol:
    You stated as if it was a fact. That if Canelo won any of his fights via SD, MD or it ended in a draw, he would take a pay cut.
    Can you cite a source for that?

    Canelo is paid based on his popularity, and fighters rarely loose any if they won via a controversial decision.
    Yes, if Canelo suddenly started loosing fights he would likely loose some money.
    But if he won via controversy, he would also take a pay cut? Who decides if it was controversial? A public vote, the guys over at DAZN? The ABC governing bodies? (WBC would never rule against Alvarez)

    It's some BS you made up because you think it makes sense.
