If you play it backwards, it sounds like Sonny said “Paul is dead”.

It was rumoured that Sonny was the secret “fifth” Beatle for studio recordings.

Was he invited in by the band? No. He invited himself - and who were the four skinny lads from Liverpool to argue with The Ugly Bear?

Geraldine sat in on the sessions - right next to Yoko Ono.

They gave Sonny a cowbell to whack away at just to placate him but covertly edited his “contributions” out later on.

Just as well Liston never bought or listened to any of their albums.

ACTUALLY - slow it down to .25, besides both men sounding decidedly drunk, it still sounds a bit like “Nathan” - but I do think he meant Lincoln..maybe. Haha.

I’ve listened to it several times and I am certain he said ‘Abraham’ so obviously referring to Lincoln.

That fits - Sonny said he was a “bit tall” - old Linc was about 6’4”. Cold case solved. Cue the slow motion ending.

Lincoln’s win over Springfield Douglas is legendary.

They say he was so trusting that instead of waiting around after the fight to get paid, he’d just tell the promoter to send a check to him at his Gettysburg address.

Long story short, Abraham Lincoln was better than Cassius Clay.

Hold the phone…not quite done here..

You mean the abolitionist or the boxer or both?

Whenever he threw that stovepipe hat of his into the ring, there was no one who could beat “Big Hat” Lincoln. No one.
