I'm no fan of ponytail, but fat taco bell munchers criticising him when they've accomplished nothing themselves, screaming in his face, really doesn't sit well with me.

 

They not ducking each other, they just need to make their commercial/marketing value and their fan base bigger so they can make the right money. Right now the PPV wouldn’t be higher than 100K

Nowadays boxers can’t really sell themselves, only Joshua. Even Canelos and Golovkins fan base could be much bigger. Not talking about Loma, Thurman, Crawford, Garcia etc. Excellent fighters but only hardcore boxing fans know them

 

Thurman is ducking because he wants a tune up directly after elbow surgery rather than fighting two guys he's already beat. Going to have to explain that one to me guys.

 

Disagree. If they are atop the division, and unfortunately NEITHER are major draws or sellers, well, that's just how it is now.

Keeping them away from one another to 'marinate' doesn't guarantee:
1. they will both keep winning to meet, or
2. they will eventually much bigger draws

 

Thurman is as sound as a pound.

 

Well Thurman has always been outspoken on fans wanting fights when they want as appose to the reality of the business side of things and actually building the fights.
Thurman is way too good to be considered anything less than equal to Spence imo.

 

I'm with you OP if it wasnt for his injury....Some people give more ish to Thurman than they give to Wilder and I dont understand this nor the hate on Thurman.

Wilder injured his hand too, and after shot to bites Arreola he fought a football player. Did you have some harsh words for him too ? I dont think so

Didn't finish watching the whole thing, but I'll defend the fat fan a little here. Thurman needs to fight the Spence. Stop waiting for the fight to marinate. There is nothing to marinate. Nobody in America knows who you or Spence are.
