Look I'm a Fury fan I'm critical of him sometimes because I don't want him to waste his talent. I hope he has both of those fights and if he starches Whyte as well then it's another decent win on his resume. I just don't want him retiring without them otherwise his legacy will be a hyperthetical one rather than one based on actual results.

I am a little surprised it's sold out so quickly considering the general buildup hasn't really got into gear as of yet since the contracts have been signed.

I was expecting a probable sell out after the pressers and interviews etc. They're not likely to happen to the comedy gold standard I was expecting either now with Whyte not wanting to participate.

That's pretty much my views on Fury these days.

He's wasted enough of his prime talent with his mental health hiatus plus the COVID lock downs. He was also tied up with Wilder for longer than most expected.

I really do hope he fights both AJ & Usyk as they're both huge career defining fights for all 3 fighters. That's assuming he defo beats Whyte, of which I expect him too comfortably but at the end of the day it's heavyweight boxing and strange & unexpected things do happen at times.

    Incredibly weak?

There are literally only 2 more names that matter, AJ & Usyk

Hell to a purist AJ & Whyte are meaningless because Fury CLEARLY BLATTERS them.

    Ruiz Jr is a walk
    AJ is a walk
    Whyte is a walk

    Joyce would be decent
Usyk is solid due to his boxing skill but he is a natural cruiser

Who else is left for this 34 year old who has 2 fights left in him?

Well it's time for action rather than constant jibber jabber. Yeah they all need to fight now I think Wilder is out of the equation at this point. I don't see him coming back and if he did he certainly wouldn't be fighting the top dogs. I think the main issue is Usyk being tied up with issues at home and he's not getting any younger. So we could end up with a free for all for the belts if the Ukraine issue isn't resolved quickly which I can't see at this moment in time. Also I'm not sure I ever believe Tyson because he could say the opposite next week you just never know with him.

Yea, i consider that incredibly weak compared to what he's capable of. Part of leaving a legacy behind means consistently beating top contenders in title fights and he has not done that aside from Wilder who was incredibly limited and stylistically tailor made for Fury

Same with me. If he wants to retire with his health and wealth, that's great. But we can't pretend he has an impressive resume. I hope he sticks around a while longer.

What?! You expect him to actually prove it in the ring? Think you are on the wrong board with that jibber jab

Personally, I think Fury could have just retired when Manny Steward told us all that Fury was the future of the heavyweight division. Job done

Even if there isn't anyone else, that actually helps Exo's claim of it being weak. As in the entire division is weak as ****.

I hope for our sanity it isn't, can you imagine Fury (and his Uber fans) for the next decade?
