Um that's how it works: you take on tough challenges and grow your profile and become stronger A-side.

How is getting up to 6x your highest ever pay getting shafted? His name doesn't add very much to the UK revenue and he's never sold a ppv in his life and his next fight is against a Joshua left over.

I've maintained from the start wilder deserves a percentage over a flat fee but I don't see where 15 million is getting shafted or crack money.

Joshua vs Parker was 2 belts vs 1 belt.
Joshua vs Wilder would be 3 belts vs 1 belt.

Parker has arguably a better resume than Wilder does as well.

Therefore, Wilder deserves less than Parker. So much money involved and if he just accepted a 10 / 15 / 20 million dollars payday or whatever it is he could be either A) Very rich and hold all 4 belts or B) Very rich !

Can't see how these lot can argue so much given the massive figures involved.

You expect Wilder to sign and agree terms for a fight now which is not even next for either guy and would likely be bigger box office by next year? And no it doesn’t matter what Wilder has earned in the past- it’s about what this fight would generate.

Has US tv finalised?- last time I heard Hearn was trying to get it on DAZN which Wilder being showtime/Haymon guy is obviously not going to accept in a million years.

Look, both camps know the fight will be bigger next year and whether they have formally agreed this in private they are both happy to let it play out.
Whether it happens in april also largely depends on what happens with Whyte-Parker, because if as Eddie is hoping Dillian takes him out in good fashion, that will no doubt lead to the AJ rematch for that date.

Because Parker fights on pay per view, his fights arent fixed, he fights tougher fighters, and he went 12 rounds with Joshua. The WBC belt might as well be the WWE belt, cause every man with half a brain knows Wilder is going to roll over in 1-2 rounds before him and prince Charles open their own weed company talking about being gods lol. Hence 7.5 -15 million a round is way too much for Wilder. $5 million max for making an appeareance. Make the contract performance based. $5 million for appearance + $1 million per round + $2 million bonus if he makes it 12. The fight isnt being made because Wilder doesnt realise he isnt worth that much.

I want to see the fight like everyone but the thing i dont get is why so many people all of a sudden are strong Wilder supporters who also feel strongly about fighters getting what they deserve and things being fair, why have these people not been arguing before for Wilder to fight the best or been arguing about how he always got 90% vs 10% style deals in his favour or how his own managers never seemed to want him to start earning big money. Why NOW how they found a voice

in all honesty I believe and I have said from day one that finkel and hearn have arranged something behind closed (perhaps only they know about it) and are just over-hyping and over-building the fight to get as much casual support as possible. UK vs USA for HW undisputed could be huge if done correctly. But as of now I still stand by view that Wilder is no where near worth what some people are making him out to be. Its ONLY a big fight because of AJ and that affect applies to any match-up where AJ is involved right now.

AJ could be fighting Mr Blobby for undisputed and would still set record numbers.
