Well, yeah, I agree. Most of everything in boxing and in the media is bull**** anyway.

But IF there's anyone out there in this world who is genuinely prepared to £15,000,000 to Joshua to step aside from Usyk rematch ... and it's a big "IF" still .... logically I would expect that money to end up in Joshua's bank and for him to step aside. Regardless of what astronomical figure he might be set to gain for taking on Usyk again.

It's just a ridiculously good offer, all things considered an incredibly good option for AJ, so good in fact I have serious doubts on it being real.

 

Agree that was my biggest issue with the step aside in the first place was the fact that Usyk v Fury would just not generate that kind of money in the first place to have spare to pay a third party off. I just can't get thhat excited with Heavyweight until I see both men in the ring otherwise it doesn't mean anything.

 

Will look a bit stupid if he accepts the step aside after that waggy finger vid.

I noticed that tellingly he didn’t actually say that he wouldn’t accept the 15 million and step aside only that he hasn’t given any interviews to say he would step aside or seen or signed any contract which is probably true. I think he’s just upset that someone broke the news before he could or did it without asking him first.

This is why people need to wait until things are confirmed instead of jumping the gun from a "source" that once stated Dana White had signed Anthony Joshua. I'm sure they appreciate all of the clicks, though.

I know $15 million in step-aside money sounds practical for Joshua, but why would anyone pay that much out of pocket to Joshua?
