    ESPY Best Boxer for 2019? To Canelo?
    It sounds more of a popularity contest than an objective assessment of the best boxer. It helps when you have a great promoter and matchmaker. But for best boxer: I would take Usyk for unifying the entire cruiserweight division and becoming undisputed champion. What has Canelo done compared to Usyk in the past year to match that feat other than making millions?

    ESPY criteria is from July to July.

    So Canelo clearly takes the cake.

    "What has Canelo done compared to Usyk..." shows you are quite the hater here, my man.

    Wins over Golovkin, Fielding, and Jacobs accumulating all those belts is better than wins over Gassiev to unify and Bellew. If the time frame also included Briedis, maybe different story.
