Donaire fought him at his weight. You don’t mention that. And Santa Cruz and Carl ducked him. You conveniently forgot that too. It’s Bob 2, Al Haymon Protection Services 0. Stop trying to be a fanboy of Floyd’s manager and try being a boxing fan for a change. Haymon is far worse for boxers like Rigo than Arum, who at least got him fights. This can’t be refuted.

Hes a brilliant business man. No smart business man gets into the business side of a professional sport for the betterment of the sport. But hes done this to make a lot of money but also benefit his fighters and the impact on pro boxing as a whole has been beneficial

You mean the same Arum who bad mouthed Rigo and blackballed him after he beat one of his cash cows in Donaire while promoting him, that Arum?

You mean the same Rigo who was given a headlining show against Agbeko thanks to Arum yet he stunk out the joint so bad that people booed and started in leaving in droves after the third round, that Rigo?

You are right, Ward never got credit. On the other hand, Loma after the fight said it was not a great win for him. He never wanted this fight to begin with, not because he was ducking, but because he would never get credit.

Lets be honest, guys just don't fight that often anymore. Chenko will probably be voted Fighter of the Year (I would vote for the guy who beat Choclatito BTW) and he has done nothing special compared to other years, the only difference is he's fought 3 times.

Whether it is Main Events, Top Rank, GDP, PBC, Matchbox, Dibella or whoever there just aren't a lot of TV dates anymore and champs don't fight off TV, or in non-title fights like they used to. 2 fights a year is what you get now.
