I say suspect defense before suspect chin. At heavyweight, doesn't take a whole lot to get rocked by a well placed shot. Also, all the guys you mentioned have decent pop.
not granite, but solid. the ruiz shot was in a bad spot, took his equilibrium and he couldnt recover. hes taken harder shots no problem.
AJ is one of those people if you clip him just right, unsighted he will turn into a big old noodle But he can handle some big shots IF he sees them coming and they don't hit him just right. Same way Khan survived Maidana, AJ survived someone like Wlad. I have no doubt Fury would fold AJ over. If not clipping him onto the canvas just the shear mental and physical pressure.
His chin is okay in general. But he has a very, very poor recovery once he's stunned and he also has weak legs. If you rock him slightly his legs are going wild and he's doing a dance. Povetkin rocked him super late in R1 and he was doing a nice little dance. He's not going down easily BUT he's easy to hurt/rock/stun.
Yes but has Taken huge shots from Tua, Vitali, Bruno and brawled with Mercer in the pocket frequently, taking shots. When Lewis is focused he can take a punch better than Aj can
Well Wlad must've destroyed Aj's punch resistance because he's been looking pretty chinny after that. Besides Tua's left hook could have been as powerful as Wlad's right hand, but Tua was a short plodder and was nowhere near as good as Wlad which is why he wasn't as much of a dominant force as Wlad Ruiz doesn't hit as hard as Wlad but Ruiz was the one to KO Aj, not Wlad. It doesn't always work like that
AJ’s chin maybe shaky but he’s never been 1 punch ko’d. I personally don’t think Tua hit as hard as Wlad
True but Lewis has taken bigger punches from bigger punchers than the punches that put him down so it was more so a focus issue than a chinny one
