Some salty Fulton and even a few Canelo(!!!) fans claiming that Inoue is on the juice because he cut less weight and added some definition. :risas3:

You know it's weird you mention Pac/Floyd fight as i just watched it in the Japan feed & i swear it didn't look like Pacquiao lost & looked great countering Mayweather, just goes to show how the biased commentator's make such a drastic difference & severely influence majority of regular viewers minds to what transpired.

True. Mayweather always had the referee, the judges and the American commentators on his side (except for Castillo I, the HBO commentary was fair for that one). There were several fights he should have lost on the cards, but the judges were dodgy and the commentators often misled the public.

Nah, it's not like it's a huge jump in weight. Like Donaire went up to 130 to fight Walters. Marquez went to 140 plus to fight Floyd. So, we are not talking insane weight jump.I do believe America, Mexico, Sth Africa, Eastern blck boxers have the edge over the rest of the world. Inoue hasn't fought these boxers before and it's different to fighting your typical easy Astrayan, Ukian, PR, Dominican,French and Fili. But to me Fulton isn't the best American boxer I have ever seen. He gives me Broner vibes. Still he is better than Boloney, Buttler or Mcdonalds.
Should be enough for a competitive fight.

They both fought very cautiously in the fight. I remember Floyd giving Pacquiao a ton of respect and didn't commit to a lot of hard punches while Pacquaio spent more time trying to box than outwork Floyd. I don't think either one showed everything they had in that fight.

Yeah your right, it actually surprised me with how well Pacquiao boxed in there especially being hampered going into it & actually effectively chasing down & countering the bigger counter puncher throughout parts of the fight, i don't think people like to admit to that, i remember those years with various forums all over flooded with the comments of how Pacquiao is a terrible boxer, cant hit back, wont be able to get of the way of Floyd's sharp jab, etc

Both guy's threw less punches per usual & i guess didn't want to make any mistakes that would cost them the fight or further embarrassment by fighting in a way to one up one another due to the massive build up & expectations of the long anticipated bout while both guys internally knew of each others capabilities of operating at this high level,

It's amazing what alternate camera angle feeds & lack of commentating influence can do for a fight perception.

Why? Fighters from all over the world travel to the US all the time with the deck stacked against them.

Fulton deserves a little bit of credit, but let's be honest, it's about the economics of the fight. The fight is significantly bigger in Japan and Inoue's coming up in weight. It's not like Fulton's going up in weight and fighting the #1 guy.

If Fulton was a massive star in the US, that's where the fight would be happening.
