Forgive my ignorance but why is Tony Bellew's name always
thrown about? Is he big over in the UK? He's quite mediocre
from everytime I've seen him.

no not particularly, i assume he is in Liverpool, but all scouse fighters are. i think his increased exposure must have something to do with Creed

 

Two things I read into this:

First, the TOMATO KAN Krusher isn't too confident in his prospects of winning on Saturday night.

Second, as I've suspected for some time now, he's having problems making weight. I'm *very* curious to see what Kovalev looks like at the weigh-in...

 

He has beaten a couple of good names recently like Makabu, and has won the vacant WBC cruiserweight belt... He really stepped up since getting KTFO by the pimp.

 

Me too. After Kovalev beats Ward, then Bellew gets his chance to become pound for pound king like in Rocky!!!!
