02 Vernon Forrest VS 07 FLoyd Mayweather

I have a hard time seeing Floyd losing against a guy that lost against Mayorga twice

 

Wheres Fitzgerald at, he would always come into these kind of threads and say Mayweather would make it easy.

The 02 Version of Forrest would have been a nightmare match up for PBF. Long tall with a great jab and power. I think PBF meets his match here. Vernon by UD.

Vernon and Floyd never would happen look at who Floyd fought after gatti he went for the money vernon wasnt know for nothing but beating shane and cheating and head butting. Im glad he beat shane tho I love forrest by the way just not enough money on the table for floyd you would have to look at the 03 floyd that would have fought anybody for fans and popularity

To beat Floyd you need Stamina and a great Jab. Forrest had average stamina and not a great jab.

 

Floyd by decision. He takes away every good thing the other fighter has. Forrest would not adapt with Mayweather during the fight.

 

A prime Mayorga would've given PBF one hell of a run for his money. :deal

 

It would be really interesting, simply because in his prime, Mayorga came in swinging non stop from every angle, and all he needed was to land one punch.

The only thing imo that could stop a prime Mayorga was fire power ala Trinidad and DLH.
