Yes i at first thought it couldn't happen since i couldn't see any perfect opponent for Floyd but since Mosley vs Berto is off it just doesnt get perfect than that,I believe since Mosley is part of the GBP this fight starts looking certain and should Pac defeat Clottey he can face the Mayweather/Mosley winner.
For the first time in a long time it looks like boxing fans will get a good money worth of a fight should this go thru as we fans wants it to go and the fight can be titled War Of The Century.

Can't see it, if it was floyd v paulie or somethin sure they might have went with it on a double header

Floyd v Shane is a genuine super fight and sells massive on its own, HBO aint throwing pac in with that deal

Not happening, the money would be convoluted amongst who gets what, and besides why would HBO incur the extra expense of covering two locations when they could cover one and get about the same PPV sales(I'm predicting should this fight happen, Mayweather-Mosley would sink Pacquiao-Cotto sales unless Bob Arum dropped the price through the floor cause the undercard is the typical Latin Fury crap that he tries to sell.

lol.. And how gets what share of the PPV numbers? Arum probably wants 50 % for Pacquiao Clottey... and that´s where the idea ends...

They should do Mayweather Mosley on HBO Ppv and let Pacquiao rot on one of these pinoy power Top rank PPV´s...

But Mayweather Mosley is never going to be on march 13th.. That´s 7 weeks and 5 days left!!!!! no time to properly promote and even more important, train for that fight..

We have a great double header this weekend on HBO. Gamboa vs. Mtagwa and Lopez vs. Luevano, two probable future top P4P'ers on the same card against game opponents. Stop day-dreaming about **** that has no chance of happening.

What makes you think that Pac would fight the winner. if him and Floyd couldn't come to terms now, they aren't going to come to terms after Floyd beats Mosely.

Absolutely. Much, MUCH bigger and better.

If Mayweather beats Mosley I would say it will be him that calls the shots - regardless, Pac ducked Mayweather once and he'll do it again. Besides he'll likely be in politics by then and can skim the $40 mil he would have made fighting off of his bleeding heart fanbase in the name of taxation or somesuch.

So many clueless boxing 'fans' in this forum.

You really think Top Rank and GBP could come to an agreement on how to split the $?

So in this unlikely scenario, is Pac, Floyd, Mosley, and Clottey suppose to split the ppv revenue 4 ways?

    The question is...

Do the 2 fights on seperate PPV's add up to more ppv buys than the 2 fights on one ppv? I think one PPV showing the 2 fights does significantly better numbers.

The only impediment, as mentioned earlier, is how they agree to split the monies.
