Ha ha , thats just not fair Forrest is one of my favourite fighters , he beats Floyd by Wide UD and well Manny for all his talents gets knocked out in a mismatch.

I would of been great to see Floyd fight Vernon before he passed away.

Tell me that lead left hook he was throwing at Oscar wouldnt budge two smaller welters??

Shane was a completely animal back then he was sweet as sugar.

Seems like Cotto is highly criticised just like all the great fighters. It only proves what a great fighter he is when there is a very close fight with another future HOFer and people dont want to give him his credit. Yeah, you can say Shane won if thats your judging on the scorecards, but fact is Cotto won. And that version of Mosley gives anyone, I mean anyone a BIG problem. Props to Cotto.

Forrest would have been a problem for Floyd and so would a young Oscar and a WW, JMW Trinidad.

i watched it two nites ago and it took me back in time when cotto was undefeated his jab was off the hook in that fight and his questions about his chin was answered as mosley threw big bombs and cotto kept cool and kept coming forward with the harder crisper punches it was a great fight and one of the highlights of cottos career

It doesn't matter if he was an animal. And you don't have to tell me, I've been watching him since he was at 135. However, Mayweather's defense is setup to stop a left hook. So I don't see how that would be a big problem for Mayweather. His left hook to the body would be his best chance to stop Pacquiao. However, who did Shane ever beat up that was close to the level of Mayweather or Pacquiao? It's not hard to just run through guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao. Any top level fighter can beat down B level fighters. It's much harder when you're taking on upper echelon fighters.

You always post well and I respect that , Shane moved up two weights to beat pretty much the best welter on the planet (give or take), I think this version of Oscar also beats both Floyd and Manny. This doesnt mean I think it would be easy . But this is pretty much the highest level you could have gotten at that time and shane passed that level.
