That's weak, you can't explain to me how it affected the numbers. Obviously those "experts" are wrong when this PPV flopped also

Mayweather-Guerrero over 800k

now go and try to explain to me how much of a bigger star Guerrero is over Rios

For the "events", yes. But when you have someone like Nelo on the undercard......with a cult like following......who's fans are some of the most consistent PPV consumers, it's safe to assume a good portion of those buys came from Mexican/Nelo fans. Of course the casual fans made up the lions share but to throw out the impact Nelo had on the final numbers wouldn't be realistic.

 

If you work in finance then you would use statistics to make your decision. Foreign event ppv's both in boxing and UFC has done 25% minimum up to 45% less than expected if were on US soil. In that sense, Rios predicted ppv buys would be anywhere from 700k to 900k on us soil.

 

Can anyone imagine how many PPV buys there would be for a Pac/Void fight?
