    no seriously, i haven't lost a fight yet but when i do will be down to my fitness or someone out speeding me

    Hi mate just seen this

    I box at light-middle (71kg)....we always do a 1.5 mile 3 or 4 days prior to a bout, my best time was something like 8.twentysomething,

    Do quite alot

    Monday: 3 miles
    Tuesday: hill reps
    Wednesday: 3 miles
    Thursday: Track
    Friday Saturday Sunday are rest days

    honest on my life, fast for your average person but to top level athletes nothing :oops:

    My personal best is 8.32 mins trying to get it to 8.30 in my next try

    Depends on your weight, for a little guy running 1.5 in under 9 min is no big deal, for a heavyweight on the other hand that time would be very good.

    ^^ I heard somewhere that for every 10 lbs you lose, it shortens your mile time by 30 seconds, is that true?
