My only Hate and Agenda is I just want the main fight to be Made. An THread after Thread saying Pac should just take a Guarantee because Floyd did 1.5 mill buys is just pushing the fight further away.

The whole world this was a 50/50 fight until floyd decided it wasn't, then floyd fans started repeating him like a parrot. Recalling PPV events from 5 years ago as a reason why.

Now the figure 1.5 mill comes out and everyone goes nuts. I'm slightly relieved personally because if there prediciotn of 2 million plus happened. (which i personaly thought would) then the fight would be event further out of grasp.

The fact it did 1.5 mill, only slighly more than Pac vs Cotto which was 1.4 mill is good imo.

Because it might get them to agree to a 55/45 split or 52/48 split.

Hopefully it removes all this 40 mill guarantee no ppv upside nonsence anyway so we can just get the fight done.

When Pacquiao's fights get the same numbers at the same prices floyd's PPV's are then we may have an argument until then Floyd is the #1 PPV attraction.

There is no way 1.5 mil and $94 mil revenue can been seen as unsuccessful.

The best thing GBP could of done was get Canelo on the undercard. There would be a lot of people who bought the PPV who have never seen Canelo fight before.

That's how I feel cos numbers depend on a lot of different factors, May the 5th is a giant holiday so you're gonna get big numbers right? If it was on a differnt day probabaly less right?

I dunno, just wanna see the fight sooner rather than later.

    :think

Well it happens when you mix "hero worship, unconditional love, ghettofabulousnesses, a boxer who's a narcassistic A-hose... sprinkle in a little fecal and urine fetish (pre-requisite it must come from Money Mayweather or his lover like Ellerbe) and top it with a generally low IQ fan base.......... WALA you have "illogical exhuberance"... :yep:D

It was good numbers but with that undercard i was expecting higher numbers somewhere around 1.7 as it was it did just 200k more Than Pac-Cotto did .

Yeah, I agree. I said in another thread that I think Canelo probably added 200k buys. Realistically, it could be anything up to 400k. The guy is a huge draw with the Hispanic audience and did something like 60 million viewers in Mexico.

Insane numbers. Mayweather did not draw 1.5m on his own. No way. To argue that is clearly ignorant of the draw that Canelo is. There's a reason that he made so much money despite fighting on the undercard.

When Canelo headlines a PPV on his own, he'll do 700k minimum, I think. If he keeps winning for a few years, he'll be bigger than DLH was.
