There have been nine PBC shows in three months.

    Seven of the nine main events were very good - Thurman-Guerrero, Berto-Lopez, Chavez Jr.-Fonfara, Garcia-Peterson, Figueroa-Burns, DeGale-Dirrell, Khan-Algieri.

If every seven out of nine main events are as good, they'll do better than fine.

Golden Boy (which was supposed to be the best promoter in the sport) has put on 11 cards in the same time frame. I found 3 of their 11 main events entertaining. And they usually have a seven-foot giant from China on the undercard fighting a guy who falls down when he gets breathed on.

People complaining that a PBC undercard fight was dull -- or the ringwalks aren't thrilling -- so the whole thing is awful are being ridiculous.

Is Wilder vs Molina a PBC card?

Yes. That main event is going to be short. Everyone on the undercard is going to get a lot of face time. Ivan Redkach. Julian Wheeler.

They should move Dominic Breazeale to that Wilder card instead of the one this Saturday. I don't think he's going to make it on the air this week. He would on the Wilder card.

The Guerrero card this weekend is going to air between the French Open Women's Final and the Belmont Stakes. Should get solid viewership numbers.

I've said it before. PBC is not as bad as I was expecting. There are a lot of actual watchable fights on there. It's not as good as HBO, but it's not as bad as FNF was. The matchmaking hasn't been great, but it hasn't been bad either. Based on that kind of reasonable if not spectacular matchmaking, they should have had one or two really entertaining fights, but for some reason they've had some bad luck. They'll match two guys who are roughly even in skillset, but then neither one will let their hands go and it turns into a stinker fight or just average.

I've seen some decent evenly matched fights, but nothing I would describe as noteworthy or Fight of the Year worthy. That's fine for free tv. I hope their ratings get better.

F Garcia he's a btch and prob begged Haymon to give him a soft touch. I'm just waiting for him to ask Paulie for a 144 lb catchweight. What a fkn joke these catchweights are. Between the stupid setup of solo ringwalks, no ring girls, blatantly ignoring major belts, censorship (which is understandable) and shtty comentating i have been disappointed. I can't complain about the matchups just yet because we've seen a few good ones but PBC is sht quality compared to HBO/SHO.
