Antonio 'The Magic Man' Tarver and Kelly 'The Ghost' Pavlik both got their claim to fame by fighting and beating old amateur rivals and nothing more, do they belong in Canasota? NO! but hopfully they make like a "Magic Man" and a "Ghost" and disappear.

Wouldn't the argument be better framed calling Tarver and Pavlik "1 Opponent Wonders"? They both posted two wins over the victims that launched them to the mountaintop.

Tarver did a great job of turning his life around after being an admitted crackhead, while Pavlik seems to be heading down a very bad slope right at the time he should be making the big money.

I realize that everyone is officially writing off Pavlik as over and overrated, but the guy is 28. He has some exciting qualities, too, I would love to see him get a proper trainer (or entirely new corner) and turn things around. Seems a bit foolish to call him a one-fight wonder when he could still be in the midst of his prime.
