i don't know how much luck had to do with it, probably more composure and opportunity, but Casamayor's KO of Katsidis always stuck out to me. Katsidis came back from 3 early knockdowns to rally and win several rounds then eventually knocking Casamayor out of the ring, Casamayor gets back into the ring, looks completely finished, Katsidis swinging widly looking for the KO then BAM gets KO'ed himself. That was suprising, at least live, in retrospect i guess you see it coming...
This is the first thing that came to mind. And I forgot that the ref never gave Eubank a count and that makes it even more of a one in a million punch.
gottard hinteregger vs jozsef Matolcsi cant find the video but as it says on boxrec "Matolcsi down four times, Hinteregger knocked out on a picture-perfect left hook. This match reportedly "fight of the night" " it was a scary KO
Donaire was landing that punch the entire fight, the one that ko'd Vic was just because Vic was throwing a punch when it landed, but Donaire had been landing it all night so it was only a matter of time before Vic got really caught with it. That was not at all a "1 in a million punch".
how about Briggs knocking out Liakovich Or Casa's hail mary against Katsidis not sure myself tbh 7 minutes [yt]UXoV9pckWzU[/yt]
I shouldn't have named the title "1 in a million punch" (although I didn't know what else to name it)...if you actually read the first post, it should hopefully make it clearer for people. :good
Not sure if it was intentional, but that video fits right into this thread...and you have unknowingly backed up the video, man. :good This thread is about, 'What would be considered a "1 in a million punch"...IF anyone else other than said boxer had thrown it. Example, said boxer landed the same shot with regularity throughout the bout, or said boxer having had success with said shot throughout his career.
