Thankfully that stupid mentality is only true for message board fanboys.

IMHO Barrera is the best example of this. Beaten twice by Junior Jones then comes back a more complete champion by beating NAZ and (some will argue) Morales. After that, he gets beaten by Pac, then bounces back and beats up Ayala and takes the championship from Morales in SFW. It's like every time he gets defeated he pulls some big cojones and wins his next fights. Hopefully if he isn't retiring Barrera versus Guzman/Valero would be good. I think Barrera might beat Valero (I think that press con thing saying Valero beats Pac was so that he could fight Valero himself and school him).

    Nah! don't think so.

An example, if Floyd ever loses against whatever fighter, will someone say is game over for him, he has done great things in his career. The top P4P guys have lost sometime on their careers like Pac, Marquez and Bernard and they still top P4P.

One has to have a strong mentality, win or lose, any sport.

Pacman and JMM are good examples of this as well and their stories aren't over. I know that whoever looses in March will be back by September to win their next fight.

I think there is more danger in fighters having a long stretch at being undefeated finally loosing because their ego is tied into the undefeated title so much. An undfeated fighter has to be mentally competant to take that first loss and survive.
