Good call. He couldn't KO him with punches off the back foot. He did however knock him silly and almost knocked him out with a punch offf the back foot.

I think hatton ramming his head into a turn buckle had a little bit more to do with that than you floyd fans are letting on.

The turnbuckle did some damage. However, the reason he hit that turnbuckle was because he was hit flush with a left hook that he didn't see. This momentarily rendered Hatton unconcious, which of course prevented him from putting out his arms and stopping himself from going head first into the turnbuckle.

You forgot to add that Hatton was in motion right when floyd connected. He was diving in with a left hook, like he had been doing all night, so the lach of oxygen ****s up a persons head stablility, lightheadedness. If hatton didnt ram his head into the turnbuckle, he probably wouldnt of been stopped. At least not at that moment.

He didn't get stopped at that moment. He got back up, was cracked with two more left hooks, and went down for good.

I see Hatton getting hit at will in round 8 with straight right hands, body shots and hooks. PBF was starting to break Hatton down and caught Hatton with that same punch he put him down with in the 8th round. In that round he was out on his feet. In round 10 PBF baited Hatton by dropping his hands knowing full well that Hatton would lunge in, like a dumbass and he caught him with a beautiful counter hook that will go down in history as one of the most perfect punches ever landed. Hatton hitting the turnbuckle was icing on the ****ing cake and had little to do with with adding to his physical pain inflicted by "the check hook" but had a lot to do with the pain from being embarrassed and being on every sports highlight reel for the next century.:deal

let me rephrase it for you. "He wouldnt of been stopped at the moment he was stopped at."

Correct, Hatton probably would've lasted another 5-10 seconds had he not went head first into that turnbuckle
