1 of the many reasons I'm absolutely disgusted with Mosley

Did you all watch the Arce-Vazquez fight?

 

I've had a similar experience. It was during the Hopkins vs Wright fight. All the causal fans started going on and on about MMA and how it was so much better than boxing.

 

I didn't think Mosley was gonna pull a Clottey. I know Mosley is past his prime but he had more fight in him than that.

 

casuals tend to drift and just talk to each other and eat and drink during the undercards. I am actually the only one glued to the tv set watching the undercards.

One girl was actually suggesting to put mtv videos until the main event.

do all you naive fans really believe that arum put this fight on because it was the best fight out there for manny? come on i know you all cant be that stupid

 

Agreed also considering he fought a Mosley coming of a draw to Mora and a beating from Mayweather in his fight before that. I'm kind of glad that this fight backfired on Arum. Hopefully Pacquiao cuts his puppet strings off and puts his foot down saying, "I want to face more challenges! I'm tired of facing the names you give me!" but we all know that's not happening.

 

a couple years ago he wouldnt have dreamed of mosley-pac and im shocked that most people were duped into believing two years and two terrible mosley performances later arum felt the time was right. All too conveniant to me

 

Arum, PBF, Don King just take from boxing but never give back. This is destroying the sport. Sure Mosley knew he would get a whipping, but I would take 5 million to fight PAC too. So would most people on this board. PAC could potentially choose tougher opponents but as Arums cash cow this ain't happening.

 

It was a **** fight after the grand production they paid LL cool J and Jamie Fox to pump it up, you know. But after the smoke cleared and talking stopped. Shane looked scared? I don't know but you can see FEAR in his EYE.

 

What I dont understand is how all those who said Mosley was shot after the PBF fight somehow believed Pacquiao v Mosley was going to be competitive.

 

yup, else the fightnight would have totaly sucked, what I dislike even more about shane is that he considers fighting in the future. man, when you lose 23 out 24 rds you should retire....

 

He didn't just take the offer. He campaigned HARD for Pacquiao. For almost a year.

 

That's what you get when you fight an underserving opponent.
