1. Mayweather 2. Hopkins 3. Pacquiao 4. Morales 5. Lennox Lewis 6. Wlad. klitschko 7.Calzaghe 8. De La Hoya 9. Roy Jones Jr. 10. Barrera
This is the only emoticon which does justice to the opinion that Barrera didn't win the first fight - :admin
I'm just baffled at how anyone can think Floyd's resume can justify a higher placing than Pacquiao. Baffled. To me it is genuinely unjustifiable. I have Hopkins higher than Mayweather too. At his absolute peak he had comparable ability, but he also has a stronger resume than Floyd. B-Hop took on serious challenges, often as the clear underdog (Tito, Tarver, Pavlik). Floyd was overwhelming favourite for every single fight he has ever had, except Corrales which was closer to even money.
its a shame from what im reading in some people list,i agree with some fighters and some others I dont at all smh
You didnt score fight 2 for Morales even tho its widely accepted he won that fight, it works both ways, at least I gave Barrera a share of fight 3, you have Barrera 3-0 up..... :-(
Check my post, I says that Pac has an edge in `greatness` due to him having faced the better comp.... but the thread title never asked for the 10 greatest, it asked for the 10 best & IMO, Mayweather is the `best` fighter of this decade as their H2H fight will prove. :good
Barrera vs Morales II was a sleeper, and could have been scored either way. Erik didn't do anything impressive in that fight, he barely landed clean and guess what? Same applies for Marco. Neither fighter came out of that fight elevated, it was a big disappointment for fans.
Floyd's mission is accomplished. He's convinced people he's the best, not by beating the best, but reiterating just how great he is. You've been brainwashed, Bill.
By that logic, Roy Jones Jr has a legitimate case for being the best of all-time? Awww Helll naww, he ain't even a top 5 Light Heavyweight let alone top 20 P4P material. Floyd may be the most complete fighter in the world, but he has to prove it against great fighters in his division.
