    If you are looking at domestic level fights, perhaps Jamie Moore vs Matthew Macklin would be worth a mention, as would Ricky Hatton vs Jon Thaxton

    i see you are a tito fan then. the vargas fight is a contendor for number but the mayorga fight? please

    some of them are great some are awful

    I enjoyed watching Tito destroy Mayorga. To me it was exciting because Mayorga has crazy power and throws from alk kinds of weird angles and I knew that a knockdown could come at any moment. Didn't you think it was entertaining? Which ones are awful?

    I thought it was a decent fight, no better. Certainly not a thriller. Pavlik v Taylor I was a great fight not mentioned, as was

    (no, I hadn't seen it til it won 2006 Ring FOTY, but then I tracked it down- wow!), as was Casamayor v Katsidis, and Pacquiao-Morales II. Hatton-Tszyu was exciting as well.

    tito mayorga was far from a classic fight
    Mayweather Corrales was no classic by any stretch of the imagination
    same with barerra hamed (but it was great watching naz getting humiliated)
    pavlik miranda was a one sided beating

    Mayorga vs Tito was fun as hell to watch a beautiful display of accurate power punching, really violent.
    Mayweather vs Corrales was a display of pure athletism and boxing skill, I never met anybody that didn't like that fight.
    Barrera vs Hamed was a beautiful of boxing and brawling by Barrera.
    Miranda vs Pavlik was an Action packed slugfest. I don't see anybody could call any of those fights awful.

    Morales fights where boring, specialy against chavez. MA vs him was nothing special, none of them where really determinated to finish the other, like for example Vazquez vs Marquez trilogy or Tito Vargas or Hoya Vargas, Pavlik Taylor, Corrales Castillo; those guys wherent scare of the outcome and thats what makes a fight memorable.
