10 boxers youd like to retire in 2011

I agree with a lot of the names, but for those that are saying Shane should retire I disagree. At 147 Shane is still dangerous and I feel he could still compete with a lot of those on top in that weight class. I think the fight with Berto should still be made

It's sad I see a lot of these lists and think...he still fights?

 

Hopkins as well, he did well this year except for the dawson fight, once that turns into a nc in the long run it will be looked back at as a good year.
I still stick to my opinion though, barrera, holy and the old heavies, roy jones, mosley need to retire.
We can add calderon to the list as well.
I want to see hopkins go out on a win but it would be good if he hangs them up in 2012, same with morales, I say fight demarco at 135 then marquez at 140 then both him and marquez can retire in 2012 with great careers regardless of the outcome.

 

All of your 10 plus Winky Wright and most of the useless heavyweight division. Also most fighters over 40 have no place in a boxing ring.

Pac, Floyd, RJJ, Holyfield, Mosley, Enzo Mac, Danny Williams, Tua, Ortiz, MAB.

As it is I bet at least half of these guys get massive pay days in 2012. And fair play to be honest.

Pac/Floyd are not going to fight each other so I think they are just gonna take meanless fights. I do not want to see another B Grade fighter like Ortiz hyped up just cause he is fighting Pac/Floyd.

William, Holyfield, Enzo, Jones cause they could get hurt.

MAB and Mosley cause they are embarassing themsleves.

Right on the cusp are my two favorite active fighters: Miguel Cotto and JMM. Both have had tremendous careers and get to face their biggest rivals at the end of 2011. That's a great way to sail into a well deserved retirement .

 

Thats not very indicative though. A lot of guys beat Margo by this point.
