I'm gonna start a boxing collection and I'm interested in your views of what fights should be in there.

I know of obvious ones to get - Barrera V Morales trilogy, Castillo V Corrales, Hagler V Hearns etc.

Can you list 10 (or maybe 15 if you have the time) great fights that should be in my collection.

    Thanks in advance:good

    Leonard/Duran 1 and 2. (Especially 1.)

    Mosley/DLH 1 and 2. (Also especially 1.)

    Trinidad/DLH (for historical reasons)

    Chavez/Rosario

    Chavez/Taylor

    Chavez/Whitaker

Whitaker/Mayweather (my favorite foul of all time, pulling trunks down)

    Vargas/Trinidad

Hagler/Leonard (probably one of the obvious ones)

I rather like Eubank Watson 1 and 2.
Benn Mclellan is a decent scrap.

Do you have a preference? Do you like sluggers, purists, boxer aka ballers, technical clinics, blood and guts wars, masterclasses etc etc etc. Anything specific to you?

Here's 10 or so I can think of off the top of my head or so that I think are pretty good/worthy:

    1-3 Vasquez-Marquez Trilogy
4 Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker-Roger Mayweather
    5 Evander Holyfield-Riddick Bowe 1
6 Ricardo Mayorga- Felix Trinidad (A fun fight that's a good way to burn an hour or so)
    7 Carmen Basillio- Kid Gavilan
    8 Roberto Duran-Ray Leonard 1
9 Sugar Ray Robinson- Kid Gavilan 1
    10 Bobby Chacon-Ray Mancini

Any style. If I had a slight preference I would say technical fighters who some might find boring. E.g Lennox Lewis + Johnny Nelson.

Complete war as you'd expect while it lasts. Fought entirely in a phone booth with both men winging power shots at one another. I won't spoil the ending other than saying that it's pretty contreversial.

One of those quickie slugfest fights that always make you go "wow" when it's over.

How would I go about obtaining these fights? I bought a Roy Jones compilation a while back (I think off Ebay) but how would I get individual fights?

    Fenech-Nelson 2 ain't too shabby either.

If you like technical mastery, Winky Wright-Tito Trinidad is a good one to own.
