Well i see your point, you can make a case for him being higher, i just think from 5 to 10 is pretty close. Although I give Barrera and Morales the edge for being dominant champions in 3 weight classes(Marquez too). Saldivar beat more quality fighters than Zarate so you can make that argument however i think Zarate is a top 4 bantam and some even have him #1. Bottom line there isnt a whole lot seperating alot of these guys its a pretty tough list and even gets tougher after the top 10. As there are about another 20 guys on par with each other.

I respect your knowledge it's just a shame you don't know how to apply it. You go ****ing ape **** and start getting personal whenever I disagree with you, and then start throwing the word "owned" around. Child's play.

Salvador Sanchez is no.1, no question in my mind. The only thing detractors argue is his lack of a resume he was unable to finish building. But tell me which mexican has a superior top 3 victories - Gomez, Nelson and Red Lopez.

Also im glad someone else gives Finito his due!

Leonard,Buchanan,Dejesus is about least equal too those 3 id rate Gomez over Buchanan and Lopez/Dejesus on par with eachother but beating Leonard is maybe the best win in boxing history.:D

But seriously Sanchez is in my top 5 all time favorites and you wont hear me trying to tear down his greatness. If he wouldnt have died early i think he would have even passed Chavez in terms of greatness.

Either that or he sustains a devastating defeat and fades into obscurity ala Michael Nunn.

Sanchez beat a green but very game Nelson, dominated an excellent, if limited puncher in Lopez, and took out a Gomez moving up in weight (who I believe personally was already starting to slowly decline technically). All excellent wins, regardless.

Saldivar beat Winstone 3 times, a young Ismael Laguna (less than a year shy of his win over Ortiz), and dominated Sugar Ramos. Given the circumstances I believe those wins are every bit as good as Sanchez's. He also had fewer passable performances, the first fight with Seki being the only one that comes to mind.
