I taped the whole lot on my laptop while at work on nightshift, seems they lost sound one hour into the coverage. That means they ran for three whole hours without sound. 3 hours.

I've run out of variations of ****...speechless...

 

I was somewhat disappointed. They didnt show replays of the KO at the end and when the punch happened in real time the camera angle that was used didnt really give much away about how the punch landed.

 

That's not Ten's coverage I would assume. They'd be getting the feed from German tv.

Regardless, I think we should all call Channel Ten on 02 96501010 and thank them for putting boxing back on free to air television. Even if the fight wasn't that great, it's still important to let them know that boxing fans exist. It takes all of 30 seconds and costs 25c.

I don't even have Channel 10 up here in Mt Isa, that's not the point. The receptionist said "we've been getting a fair few positive calls, I'll be sure to pass on your message to management." Worth a go...

Cheers mate, i just made my call and thanked channel 10 for putting the fight on. I was only on hold for about 2mins but it was well worth it. The chick who answered actually sounded really hot and i started to mumble my words. Anyway i got through it and then asked her out for a date (only joking) i'm as weak as ****

She told me she has had a few calls about it and that she writes a report to management detailing what people said and how many calls they get.

I told her my advice to 10 management, was as a regularly watcher of 10 (haha, not) i was most looking forward to many more fights especially Aussies fighting overseas.

 

Ha ha good stuff mate. I wasn't even on hold, just got straight through. I reckon it's important that everyone here calls, just to let them know we want more. You only get what you ask for!

I thought it was a good broadcast. The fight was ordinary but I think we all expected that. I like how 10 were able to put a start time on the main event, really hope the ratings were there also so we get more fights on free to air.
