He weight in almost exactly the same in his last 5 fights. Against Margarito at 150 Pac weight in at 144. It's clear Pac is noticeably getting slower.

so if pac lost to marquez in the 2nd fight also, why did coto not destroyed pacquiao in their fight if that's enough reason for cotto destroying pacquiao in a rematch?

Cotto's only chance is to stick and move for 12 rounds and hope Pac doesn't time him with something big when he's coming in.

This fight, BTW, isn't sellable so it won't happen.

after being exposed, then comes the excuses.

cotto-margarito was at catchweight, pac-marquez 3 was at a catchweight, ortiz-berto was at a catchweight. even floyd-marquez was at a catchweight on jmm's side only.

I suspect casual fans won't be as enamoured to pay for a rematch considering how one-sided their first fight ended up becoming. Cotto was reduced to running from Pac for the 2nd half of the fight and those visual impressions aren't likely to dissipate in the minds of people who are debating whether or not to shell out another $60.

No Cotto offensively has a style alot like Barreras and Oscars where they are all lefthanded converted to orthodox. They have powerful left jabs/hooks but dont have a powerful right hand where they can lead which is essential vs southpaws. Cotto would need to work on his footwork and positioning and pretty much take one outta Marquezs book. Plus Cottos shots are not as compact as Jmms he opens up alittle too much and thats where he gets caught. Cotto did a beautiful job vs Mosley but Pacman is a different beast. A rematch would resemble Pacquiao vs Barrera 2 I think where MAB had his moments, but Pacman the clear winner.

Cotto is after a pay day and he probably deserves it. However he is shot and running from a shop worn Margarito for 10 rounds was just more proof.

Pac is on the slide too, but Cotto doesn't box like JMM.

He weighed more in the ring though. I agree he's not as fast as he used to be, but I think it's also seen more due to who he's fought in his last 3. Give him any of the 3 before that and he'd look amazing. Do you not agree?

Do you realize that in the 3rd fight Marquez was a 38 year old.....Lightweight? So Pacquiao cant even beat an old past prime technical boxer who is disavantaged by the weight . Mayweather-Marquez was catchweight fight , but at least it wasnt a title fight

Marquez hired the second biggest figure in the Balco scandal and came in bigger than Pac, and his punches were thunderous.

    :yikes

your point was that cotto would destroyed pacquiao because he was beaten by marquez.

i asked you if you have marquez beating pacquiao in the 2nd figth and you said yes.

i asked you why then cotto didn't destroyed pacquiao when he fought when marquez beat pac the 2nd time.

then you field up some excuse that it was at a cacthweight fight.

just admit that your reason is idiotic.
