It's ironic that he didn't concentrate on Lewis's preparation because he was training Naseem Hamed for the Barrera fight too.
Another epic fail. Britain lost two world champions within a two-week period.

Interesting that Pepe Corea gets a lot of blame for the McCall defeat, but people don't mention Steward and the Rahman defeat as much. But Steward's cuplability was blatant.

His is certainly one of the best trainers though.

Agreed with this also. Yeah the McCall defeat was weird, then again Oliver could walk through his punches which was amazing to say the least.

Steward (i think) has gotten better over the years even, as his training seems more sturdy than ever with Wlad. That corner was losing it completely when the Brewster KO happened.

I do believe strongly that if Hasim Rahman had kept a corner, and kept in shape he would have been a serious force in the heavyweight division. Better conditioning would of saved his ass against Tua, & Maskaev when the going got tough.
Hard to believe this big upset was 10 years go. Wow, I'm old now!!!

Rahman caught him by surprise just like Sanders got Vlad...Sanders may have done it to Lewis if he got the shot but Lewis was not sleeping on Sanders, his promotional company owned Sanders but it did not help him....Vlad thought Sanders was shot because of injuries, they took him light the same way Lewis took Rahman lightly....the bigger they are the harder it is to rise...I am waiting for Valuev to get dropped

Valuev has IRON CHIN . He wont go down, no matter what. He was toying with Haye in the 12th, any1 that thinks different is fooling themselves.

Rahman & Sanders = ATG status

    I like Rahman.

To me he truly deserved to beat Tua twice.

The first fight was a premature stoppage, while Rahman was well ahead.
The rematch was a gift draw for Tua, who was losing again.
