Yeah it was a real shame that this had to be Hameds last fight too, because it really leaves a bitter taste in my mouth

I know you hate it when people say Naz would of won with a good camp and i dont know about that but im sure he would have done better at least not been schooled, might of still lost though

he had 1 fight after and won a 12 round decesion i think. pretty sure he was boo'ed off aswell.

that night must have broke some hearts tho and, imho, Marco would beat any version Naz:good

One thing i dont like, is whenever the subkiect of Naz is brought up to many posters(mostly American) they seem to completely sweep all Naseems accomplishments away, and judge him solely on the Barrera fight. It seems unfair to me, beaucse he accomplished a lot in his time at featherweight.

LP i think he needed that loss to MAB to calm him down. He didn't have the same 'i am the greatest' attitude he used to have around Sheffield and became much more humble believe me i used to see him around quite often and knew some of his cousins. MAB will always be a legend but as a boxer Naz was excellent too.

    In retrospect:
    1. Naz at that stage had become a parody of himself and had lost the true desire to fight long before.
    2. Barrera would have still beaten him whichever version of Naz it was.
