I am not sure, the contract called for Ward to get $6,500,000 and for Kovalev to get 0, however, Kovalev should have gotten some of the ticket money, but he did not make nearly as much as Ward, no where near it. There is a video showing the contract somewhere, I can post it if I can find it again......................

 

Yes, I agree, Duva gave Kovalev a raw deal, I would have made sure of neutral judges, referee, boxing commission, commentators, etc., otherwise I would never have fought a dirty cheater like Ward. Ward did not win those fights anymore than Golota beat Bowe....................I have corruption...............I just want to see a level playing field....................what's wrong with that? I would hope that "all" fans would want to fight against corruption in boxing....................you have a chance to be heard. I hate to keep posting about this, but I am hoping that the fans will do the right thing. Even Jim Lampley has given us a chance to be heard......................this is not just about the Kovalev/Ward fight, or even BYRD who appears to be corrupt.............you can be heard, please call and let your voice be heard, this is the chance we have been waiting years for..................no matter whom you are a fan, paying 70,80, or even 100 dollars, only to be cheated, or paying huge money at ringside, this is not right and must be stopped...............a Federal commission or better still an international commission could be formed as it almost was years ago, FBI investigation into fight fixing as well. Sen McCain was involved, but he is sick, has a brain tumor, so doubt if he can do the work now.............too much push back. DO SOMETHING! As reported, Byrd who scored the Golovkin/Alvarez fight 10 rounds for El Pollo and only 2 rounds for Golovkin will not be penalized at all! Bob Bennett, the boxing commissioner lied live on HBO, claiming that Byrd was a great judge and had never had a bad card until the Golovkin/Alvarez fight! A total lie! Byrd has been corrupt for years. Jim Lampley said that if fans do not do something now, the corruption in boxing will continue! Bob Bennett was also called out by HBO for lying about the last Rigo fight when Rigo held his opponent's head and hit him three times in a row, then clearly after the bell landed a left hook and knocked his opponent out! Bob Bennett lied live on HBO, said their video man told him that the punch was clearly before the bell while the video was being replayed! Later the decision was changed, but only after HBO proved him wrong! The same Bob Bennett who refused to watch the replay of Kovalev/Ward when Ward clearly landed three low blows in a row to Kovelev's testicles!. Call the number and complain!
