    Hi guys,

im running my first 10k at start april and want some advice and reassurance

I ran 4.4 miles on sunday in 35mins so a pace of just over 8 mins a mile.

ive done no training since early nove, mber so was quite pleased with this effort tho i was blowing hard at the end.

i did 2 sets of 2 miles tonight at 8 min pace again and I was pretty shattered despie a few mins break in between and this has klnocked my confidence.

    so some ques......

am I still suffering from sunday due to being a little out of shape?

what time do you think i cvsan ferasibly do 10k in with 2 1/2 months of good training

how should i train to get the best possibl;e result?

    thanks guys

I managed a 10k in 39:20 just through good hard boxing training and the running and conditioning that went with that and that was the only race I've ever run. Don't get stressed in your training or in your running, enjoy it. This isn't really advice but make sure you're patient and enjoy what you're doing.

Hill sprints. The absolute best way to get ready for a race that short.
