If his fights were going to be on PPV, this concern would make more sense.

Signing Canelo brings new subscribers. After that it's up to DAZN to provide the content to retain as many of those subscribers as possible.

Those subscribers that DAZN keeps, aren't suddenly going to cancel if Canelo loses.

He just put $365 million (part of it anyway) in the bank....how is he going to stay motivated for 5-6 years, assuming he fights 2 times a year?

This is like signing a baseball player for a huge contract over 10 years. You get a couple good seasons, a couple ok seasons, then the long decline sets in.
