    That would be equivalent to over 30 million people watching in the US. The average HBO fight does 1.5 million viewers.

    Fun fact: Vitali Klitschko has the highest HBO ratings in history.

    But he is a white Eastern Euro stiff that could never have tread water with the so called 'golden era' heavyweights of the 1970's. :admin

    These numbers are that because of racism, white privilege, or something... I don't know, I'm eagerly awaiting what bull**** people are going to spew in response to objective, numerical facts of the Klitschko's domination of the Heavyweight scene. :yep

    PPV has destroyed the boxing market in the US.
    There certainly were times when a huge portion of the population over there was watching boxing as well. But it's almost impossible to generate 60M or more with free tv on commercials and livegate alone.
