Cotto would never have beaten Margarito, he had to call on the friendly docs to save his embarrassment.
When you think that's 2 "boxers" Antonio caused them to embarrass themselves Floyd & Cotto

MGT was saying that Pacquiao deserves credit for Cotto's victory in the rematch.

    He isn't wrong, honestly.

Cotto beat a badly denigrated version of the man that battered him in 2008. Loaded hand wraps or not, Margarito was a much better fighter three years earlier. Mosley & Pac combined basically decimated any vestiges of prime fighting ability Marg had.

No, the doctors didn't "save" Cotto. If you want to discredit the win in an intellectually honest way, you need not go further than the fact that your boy wasn't half the man he was last time.

Youre right he wasn't, but why wasn't he???? Because he'd been forced out of boxing for 2 1/2years by a bogus hand wrap issue. Ive tried everywhere I know to find one person or commission involved that would state categorically that had ever had loaded wraps or even attempted to. Naz just walked away, the CSAC refused to comment, of course lol I did have the independent lab's report on the pads & not once did that mention finding plaster. Before the Mosely debacle they tried to get Antonio to drop out because he was far from 100% but being the fighter he was he refused "I'm cot a coward I can beat old Mosely" How we all wished he had backed out none of this would have happened. The last thing anyone suspected would be for Mosely to come to the ring Juiced to the gills which he obviously was when you look at his performances before & after that aweful night Tony should never have been in there. Pac finally destroyed his eye & Cotto just jumped at a rematch but even with Tony fighting with only one good eye from round 2 for seven rounds Quitto Cotto couldn't LEGITIMATELY beat him.

I don't know if Margarito intended to cheat, but what he was actually found guilty of in no way implies he had "loaded gloves" or "hands of stone" or what not. A thin film of plaster of paris (Calcium sulfate dihydrate) which is literally orders of magnitude softer than the bone (apatite) behind it does not constitute hands of stone or whatever. As people say, the Cotto rematch was heading in the same direction and Cotto got a convenient out as Margarito's eye gave way.

Tyson said prizefightimg is "trying to get the opponent to wilt from your assassination" during the Mayorga Cotto fight. That's exactly what Cotto did to Margarito, made him wilt while beating the shyte out of him. I don't wanna hear no oh his eye was damaged or oh he was coming on strong in the later rounds, he's a grown man he made his decision to fight that night plus he's too old to cry. Cotto demoralized him and was ready to go another 5 or 6 rounds due to all the miles of backward running during the training camp. So what if Margarito wants to die in the ring and Miguel doesn't? That shouldn't give one glory, heck you can lock yourself in the bathroom and shout all kinds of compliments to give yourself glory heck. All I know is that those tears of blood that Cotto cried in part one was from no mere mortal. There was even a hole through his lip. Let's allude to max Kellerman s story of the fight: who would you rather be in part 2? Simple, I have no question. Plus it was badasz to stare down Margarito after the fight. Miguel= soul snatcher Cotto> Antonio tornado Margarito.
