This could be read out by Micheal Buffer on Saturday night. Why! 1. Groves - Froch is so much like Benn-Eubank, first fight ended in round 9 stoppage, second fight a draw. 2. Both guys have been hurt in the first fight, may use a more tactical approach this time, resulting in a less action packed fight. (like Barrera - Morales 2) 3. Both fighters are now represented by powerfull promoters, a loss to either would be damaging to their marketability.
Benn-Eubank 1 was a genuinely great fight. Great match up of styles. Great fighters. Froch v Groves was messy from start to finish. There's a lot of hype surrounding this fight, and it will do great numbers. Unfortunately this will only encourage promoters to produce more "controversial endings" to set up rematches. The paying public seem to love it.
