If you go by all 3 judges scorecards where at least 2 of the 3 judges gave the round to Marquez then the winner on points would be as follows: MARQUEZ: 1,3,4,8,9,10,11 BRADLEY: 2,5,6,7,12 7 rounds to 5 for a score of 115-113 in favor of MARQUEZ Bradley only connected on 15 more punches than Marquez over 12 rounds. Such a trivial amount. Also, If Marquez was forcing the fight and landing the cleaner, harder shots why then do so many people see this as a clear win for Bradley?
forcing the fight? he made the fight bradley's game. it's obvious on his frustration during the fight.
Its weird how people think Marquez was being so aggressive and pushing the fight. The first 5-7 rounds Marquez did not let his hands go and basically did nothing except eat jabs and try, unsuccessful to counter Bradley. Bradley won the majority of those rounds, got tired of Marquez's BS, and started sitting back looking for counters himself as Marquez was CLEARLY behind on the cards. Marquez did not really oblige in letting his hands go, he walked down Bradley, but was scarred of getting KOED Stop acting like Marquez "forcing" the fight. He was not.
Not even close. I love Marquez, always been a big fan but this time he GOT OUTBOXED. Period, end of story..
My legitimate repsonse is how can anyone see a marquez win here :S for the first half he hardly let his hands go, bradley controlled the fight.. When he did finally start doing something (probably round 10) it was al but too late... This fight in my opinion was one of them close fights but with a clear winner
Simple, Marquez threw less but landed just as many as Bradley. You take into account that Marquez outlanded Bradley in power connect, and truly Marquez' connects had more power behind them..... .......thats how you come to a conclusion that Marquez deserved victory. Throughout the whole fight HBO preached that Marquez was'nt throwing enough punches, then at the end of the fight reality smacked them right in the face with their own punchstat numbers showing that Marquez had landed just 15 fewer punches than Bradley and had landed 30 more power connects than Bradley. I hate quote punchstats as I dont value them as reliable, but in this case I think each fighter was pretty close in connects landed, and I do believe and most do believe that Marquez landed the more telling and harder blows Simple my friend!
Did you look at your fellow juantard post above? Even your fellow juantards don't believe anything you say. Just accept that Bradley made Marquez his son and stop being a sour grape like JMM. Close this thread.
115-113 Marquez was how I scored it... Bradley danced around and jabbed Marquez, but Marquez hit Bradley with the cleaner punches. Close fight I would give to Marquez.
