WTF has Pac got to do with it ? I'm a pac fan and I scored the fight for Marquez. He landed the bigger power shots and more of them. Harold must have smoked something before the fight, the way he was babbling, and Max was a raving idiot for most of the night.
Marquez got Assassinated at the weekend. and Marquez fans are Assassinating their characters coming out with this ****. great. i wonder what drivel tomorrow will bring?
A ******* scores for Marquez good for you. Means you judged for yourself and were not guided by the HBO clowns. If you had told me you thought it could go either way and scored for Bradley, I'm respectful of that also. Pac has nothing to do with this, I'm pointing out that butthurt *******s are in glee that Marquez was'nt the one that got his hand raised. So happy they are most that I've read here are caling it a "sonning" of Marquez. :nut Would you agree that Marquez got schooled? :nut KTFO6 is a son of a ***** for most *******. Fact! :deal
See what I mean Cuchulian? What true Marquez fans that have been in this forum awhile are calling the decision a robbery? I'm certainly not and neither is a few other diehard Marquez fans like Beouche who's been very respectful of the decsion. Its these poor *******s that are stirring the pot wanting Marquez fans to cry robbery when they're really not! :deal
This is bull****! JMM was almost knocked down in the last few seconds of Round 12. I hate people who can't accept the truth.
Marquez certainly did not get schooled. As I said, I had him winning. But he certainly wasn't robbed either. Too many close rounds and a narrow Bradley victory was possible. And as far as being a '*******' I have said a number of times that it would not be unreasonable to score all three of the first three Pac-JMM fights for JMM, or for Pac. They were all close affairs. Bradley is a nice lad, but he's being disingenuous if he claims to be 3-0 in his last three. At best he's 2-1. On my scorecard he's 1-2 with one very narrow win over the Russian. He could also be 0-3. Karma is waiting for him...
I don't really care what stats say in any fight. You can't look at stats and then decide who won lol. Bradley controlled the fight with his jab until the later round. I hate the ' he had more power so he wins' theory... powers something your born with, basically the more powerful puncher always wins then yeah? because when he lands it hurts his opponent more. it's a ridiculous theory. Everyone has there own opinion, personally like i said before i thought it was a close fight with a clear winner (bradley).. marquez tied jumping on the 'robbed' badwagon yet again knowing people would follow because bradley has a bad rep for that. He's a sore loser and he lost the fight. He didn't do enough to win. He wasn't throwing punches, go back and watch it for god sake, i don't care what punch stats say... maybe he just totally out through bradley in the last 3 rounds and levelled it out?? It still don't mean he can win a round by round scoring.......What's he gunna do now?? ohhh bradley v marquez 9 marquez lands a big KO...after 8 'dodgy' decisions lol The guys a *****. I ain't even a pac fight neither and i think he''s an idiot, thank god floyd took him to school
I need to see this fight with the sound off. 15 punches off sounds crazy close. I wonder how many people got lulled into thinking the fight was wider than it actually was. I really think that based on what you consider good ring generalship, you can make a case for both fighters. (Although I really think that calling it for Juan is a much harder sell)
Wow, looking at the compubox stats paints such a close fight. What an entertaining fight. I love this kind of ****.
I dont pay attention to punchstats either. Thats not how I score a round. When I watch a round and score it I'm breaking it down in my mind. The first 30 seconds.......who has the edge. The minute mark......did fighter A get make his lead even more or did fighter B even it up...... I keep a tally like that in my mind throughout the round. Say for example fighter A has only a slight edge the first half of a round and in the next minute fighter B does slightly better than what fighter A had done in the first half of the fight. ......at this point there about even, maybe even a slight edge to fighter B as he did a little better the next minute than fighter A did the first half of the round. At the end of the round fighter A throws a hard combination and wins an exchange. More than likely fighter A takes the round by scoring with a solid combo at the end of a round that had been close. Example, round 12 of Marquez-Bradley. Marquez imo had won the the first 2:30 of that round rather clearly. He pressured Bradley who looked tired to me and landed good shots. To close the round both fighters start whaling at eachother with both missing most of their shots. A short compact left hook catches Marquez clean, and although not hurt, he losed his balance and almost goes down. Sorry, but one punch is'nt going to change the outcome of a round handily dicatated by Marquez for 2:30 of the round. The HBO announcing team commented that had Marquez gone down, it would have been 10-8 Bradley in a round Marquez was winning. .......not on my card. Had Marquez gone down and immediately gotten up not showing any ill effects, I'd have scored the round even. The one shot flash knockdown would have evened up the round but not put Bradley ahead. At the very most it would have changed the round from a 10-9 Marquez round to a 10-9 Bradley rouind. A two point swing but certainly not an idiotic 3 point swing over a ****ing flash knockdown. As far as you comments on power. I dont give major credence that one fighters has more natural power than the other. I give more weight in scoring on the torque generated when a fighter throws his punches. Bradlley was sticking out the jab quickly and bringing it back. Not a whole lot of torque behind those jabs. You'd have to land 3 or 4 of those types of shots to equal a hook landed clean with good torque from Marquez. An arm punch cant possibly be valued equal to a hook thrown with leverage behind it. Does'nt matter than Bradley's punches dont quite have the same potency of Marquez, but is he throwing them with his feet to the matt and attempting to put some mustard behind them???? I value that more than the actual potency of the punch. I'm not going to argue with you about Marquez bitching except to say that after as many times that he's been jobbed, he's got a right to ***** even if the decision is close and could have gone either way. I've followed Marquez' whole career and for some reason judges have tended to not give merit to his skill in the ring. I'm not just talking about decsions that have gone against him. The judges had only narrowly ahead in fights against Joel Casamayor and Juan Diaz. Fights that eventually ended in KO"s by Marquez but that Marqeuz deserved to be more than just narrowly ahead in. Take a half step back and letting go aggressively with combination shots with mustard behind them. Thats JMM in a nutshell for you, and yet a judge will value arm punching jabs over combination shots thrown an landed with force??? If Marquez sits back and counters with force its "he was'nt the come foward aggressor." It he comes foward throwing hard punches and the opponent sits back and thows arm punching jabs, all of a sudden thats called getting outboxed? :nut Throwing and landing aggressively with hard multishot combinations on the backfoot is less worthy than a fighter who pivots, moves and lands a guager of an arm punch???? This is where Marquez' venom is coming from when he say's he got robbed. Whether he boxes or goes out seeking aggressively, the judges have'nt been satisfied with either when it comes to Marquez being the one doing it. The fight with Bradley was close, no doubt about it, but I cant blame Marquez for one second for feeling that judges have a vendetta against him.
