:lol:Are you kidding me.....that judge will get more opportunities to obey those on the upper scale within these alphabet groups who would love nothing more than to see the popular fighter come out on top.

Eugena Williams who is poster judge for corruptness, is still a boxing judge, judging proffesional fights....for those who dont know Eugena Williams scored the first Holyfield-Lewis fight for Holyfield.

Did anyone else notice the look on Berto's face when that first scorecard was read? Even he knew that it was bull****!! I agree with 114-113 in Berto's favor, and I wouldn't argue if it was in Collazo's favor either, but that was rediculous.

Usually when the fight is close enough and a wide score is announced.....you know that score is for the popular fighter.

.....case in point is when they announced a 118-110 score in the Hagler-Leonard fight.......when that score was read, I already knew that JJ Guerra had already filled out his scorecard beforehand and that it was going to go in favor of America's darling Sugar Ray Leonard.

WTF did you do to that quote, guy? Fixed it for ya, but damn...pay attention.

Anyway, your reading comprehension could do with a little sharpening, it seems. I said HBO Sports was a tiny little fraction of that mega-corporation (meaning HBO's) agenda. That's absolutely true. If you don't think they would still have the biggest market share in premium cable with just their movie selection and original programming, you're out of your mind. Gumbel, Costas, live boxing, Legendary Nights, and Inside the NFL are all just icing on the cake...not the meat and potatoes of Home Box Office, let alone Time Warner as a whole.

I had it 115-112 Berto, I thought he won the rest of the 1st round other than the near KD, and I would've gave it 10-8 or 10-9 Collazo had it been ruled a KD. I was just an objective judge too, not biased of either guy.

I agree...he should be fired like all other incompetent employees.
It is possible to fire or ban him...its not like he's a gov't employee.

Either that or implement a couple of exigencies:

    1. Obligate him to prove that he is not legally blind.
    2. If not legally blind, then he must prove that he does not require
    the wearing of glasses.
    3. If he needs them, then he must prove his case as to why he was not
wearing them during his job duties.

Bottom line ....he proved he is not in the Pofessional judging level.

You can't argue that Berto won round 1.

Not if you expect to be taken seriously.

I knew that Berto would win a debatable decision.

Yes, that judges should be banned from boxing. Even Berto's father said that his son needed a knockout before the end of the fight, he yelled it from ringside. Harold Ledermann had a fair scorecard. He had it 7-5 for Collazo.

its like you all seem to forget that judges are payed by the promoters so you know the fix is on.
they will allways side with the promoter/tv network fighter whoever has the money behind him its how the bussiness works its been like that since the 60's and its not going to change anytime soon so get used to it

and these judges will not be banned infact its the opposite any judges who show a tendancie to side with the money fighter will be hired more consistantly then the judges who call it fair and square
